Andrew Kaigler Cemetery

Andrew Kaigler, (Sarah’s Great-Great-Grandfather on her father’s side), was born around 1730 in Germany and migrated to South Carolina as a young man. He married Caty Capplepower and lived most of his life in Saxe-Gotha. His home was a two-story hewn timber house later removed when I-26 was built near the J. S. Bellinger home.

There are still two graves marked. They are right beside the fence that separates the private land and interstate property.

These are two pictures Christian Knight took before the house was completly torn down when the I26 was built.
